Ryan Dixon

Ryan Dixon is the principal of Ballast Wealth Partners, where he enjoys serving his clients as a fiduciary financial advisor.

Ryan got his start in the financial services industry in 2009 while working as a representative for a general agency of MassMutual. He later worked as an independent advisor representative for advisory firms in the Tampa Bay area. He founded Ballast Wealth Partners in 2022.

Before finding financial services, Ryan played professional baseball in the minor league system for the St. Louis Cardinals. His baseball career was cut short due to injury, but he is thankful for the opportunity to live out his childhood dreams and will always cherish the memories and friendships that he built with teammates along the way.

Ryan started his college career at the University of Miami where he majored in Criminology and played collegiate baseball for the Hurricanes for two years before transferring to Stetson University. He transferred to Stetson University where he earned his degree in Sports Management and finished his collegiate baseball career as a Hatter.

Ryan was born and raised in Pinellas County, Florida, where he resides today. He and his wife, Tara, and son, Rhett, enjoy spending their time outside enjoying all that Florida has to offer. The Dixon family welcomed a daughter, Tatum, in the fall of 2022.
